Introduction
Video games bring a good amount of delight to the world. Unwelcoming and unhelpful thoughts from our “real lives,” are easily banished because these virtual programs and video games play a vital role in the life of many people today.
Mafgames, LLC, is a newly established game developing company. We are fundraising to provide capital for our first gaming project in a series of related online MMORPGs, (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), all taking place in the same persistent universe.

My Narrative
One of my goals since childhood has always been to create a game that will not only be fun and thrilling but also help players unwind from the daily grind along with many other life-impacting benefits. (Fun, immersive, intuitive, easy to learn, easy to play.)
As a child, I could lose myself in a good game, imagining I was actually “in the game,” solving problems and challenges, completing quests and defeating other player-characters.
As an adult, I can appreciate the pleasure that video games can bring. Like books, video games offer an escape from reality and, for some people, a place where they can be their true selves. When someone plays my game, I want them to feel all these things and then some.
But, I always wanted more, specifically, “Why can’t I play a great game instead of going to work to make a living?”
Maf: Starfleet Battles solves that challenge.
About “Maf: Starfleet Battles”
Maf: Starfleet Battles is a Sci-Fi Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game that will feature a completely player-driven economy in a procedurally-generated, persistent universe.
Set in a nearby galaxy — “Snickers” — players begin in game year 1988 on the planet Maf. World War 3 has just ended.
Propelled by the inventions and the relentless drive of the giant LMT Corporation, anti-gravity has just been discovered; warp drives and jump drives, sentient AI and quantum computers are next in line.
Players make money by playing the game.
Players can design, build and then sell or lease their creation to other players. Anything and everything in the game and anything a player can create or build can be built for sale or lease to other players.
Nearly 100 people have tested the paper version of the game, and all these players concluded that the gameplay was inspiring, action-packed, and strategic. This result has moved me to share my idea with the gaming public.
Everything is currently on paper. The participants tested the game as a table-top (paper version) role-playing game akin to Dungeons and Dragons(R). For the public to play, we need the finances to convert it from paper to online.

Game Objectives
The following are the objectives of the finished game:
1. For players to support themselves with a livable source of income while playing our game.
2. For the game to be thorough, complete, and yet adaptable.
3. For the game to accurately reflect science in the virtual world.
4. Enable players to create, construct, sell, or rent everything within the game.
5. Players will be able to create their own starships, cities, factories, spaceports, weapons, planets, moons, and equipment and any other item or object players choose to design, build, use or sell.
6. Players are encouraged to create mods, Missions, Storylines, Epic Ars, Quests, etc. for other players.
7. To be immersive, intuitive, easy to learn and easy to play.
8. Yet be challenging, fun, detailed, in-depth and comprehensive.
The game will be developed and released in phases; Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta. The final version will possess every special and game-improving feature from each phase, including that from player feedback and we need the required finances to catapult this game from concept to an online playable game. (Timeframe goal from start to an initial playable online game is 6 months.)
Funding Goal
Our funding goal is to raise $450,000 in this Alpha stage. Every penny from this campaign will go into hiring the required workforce for a game-developing brand to be fully established and for organizational expenses.
We will allocate the funds raised in this campaign to hire the following workforce
• Game and content coders
• IT staff
• Customer service staff & office staff

• Lease office space
• Buy servers, workstations & software
